Not sure what to say?

I'm sorry for the loss of Joe Montana Sr. I did appreciate spending time with him and he letting me fish for bass in the pond at his home.

I met Joe Sr. at Granzella’s Olives in Williams, California, probably around 2010. I drove from Eureka to meet him. I know that he was a bit shocked when I asked for his autograph (he said, “You do know that I’m Joe’s dad?”), but it truly was an honor to meet Joe’s father, best friend and mentor. I still have his autograph. RIP, Mr. Montana.

RIP JOSEPH Sr. I loved watching your son Joe play with the 9er's being a SF boy myself. God Bless.

You are always in my thoughts.
Joe Sr. What a great legacy you have left. I have great memories that will never be forgotten. Reunited with that lovely wife and at peace.

We had the pleasure of having Joe Sr. a client of ours in Alaska. Think the year was 1985. Had a great time. He signed our guest book " fishing and the experience was like watching my son win the super bowl. Sure enjoyed him and we and the crew had alot of fun! Great memories!!!!

So Sad. He was so much fun to be around and my family loved him and Theresa. Miss them both. God Bless you and your family Karen Myhre

Joe, I'm so sorry to read that your Mom and Dad are both gone. i worked with both of them from 1956 thru 1959. You were just a little guy back then and your father was so proud of you. I thought of your father this evening while watching Super Bowl LIII and decided to search the internet for his name. I'm so sorry for your loss. Your parents were good people. Gerry, Pittsburgh, PA. Joe and Jennifer, I am so sad to hear about your dads passing. Joe Sr was a very dear friend and youre mom was an incredible friend as well. My daughter Brittney and I came down and stayed with your parents and I would help your mom do fan mail. I know its been a little while that Joe sr passed, but I just found out. Please know we loved them so much and they treated my daughter like a grandchild, its going to be hard because they were so special. My prayers are with you all.
God bless...
