85, passed away on November 11, 2018 in Topeka, Kansas. She was born to Sam and Eva (Massey) Perkins on October 31, 1933 in Wichita, Kansas. She graduated from North High in 1951. She was a very smart business woman and beautiful too. Evelyn's Decorating skills were outstanding. Evelyn was married to Art Vigare from February 27, 1954 until his death in November 1997. Evelyn and Art were very amazing entrepreneurs and started several Income Tax Services, and at one time owned over 42 Taco Grandes. Evelyn lived in Wichita, Goddard, Lawrence, Palm Springs and Topeka over her lifetime. Evelyn had a great love for all animals especially her pet dogs, they were her best friends. Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband; Art Vigare, granddaughter; Kate Marie Fechter. Her grandchildren always referred to her as "Grandma Jayhawk", as she was a huge fan. She is survived by son; Sam (Shanna) Vigare, daughters; Susan (Kenny) Boothe, Vanessa (Mike) Fechter, grandchildren; Tyler, Annie, Rachel, Adam and Lucy, great-grandchildren; Connor, Addison, Adler, Bryce and Samuel. In lieu of flowers please send a contribution to an Animal Rescue of your choice. Graveside service 2:00 P.M. Tuesday November 20, 2018 at White Chapel Cemetery, 1806 N. Oliver, Wichita, KS 67208.
