Don, It has been almost two weeks since we received the call about your passing. It still hurts my heart that you aren't going to be here to give me encouragement when I need it. Even when we weren't seeing eye to eye you were still here if I needed you. You and I both could be very stubborn, but you were still there. I will miss you. Miss our driving around. Miss going to dinner. Miss meeting your family.I remember meeting Numosh for the first time. Wow, it's a good thing she didn't get more of my back side. But, she was protecting her daddy, so I can't blame her. I will miss going to the theater with you. Remember that was where we had our first official date. Our first date was going to Bambinos. I was so nervous I felt like I was going to puke. But after spending three hours there my nerves settled down, and we had a good time. I will miss just being with you. You were and always will be special to me. No one can take away the memories I have of us. I still remember you bringing and having flowers delivered to me on special occasions. I never deserved them I don't think, but I felt special when I got them. I will miss you Don. You will never know how much you meant to me. I love you.

Don, When Shanda told me about your passing it made me sad. When I would see you at First Student we had a good laugh about this or that. You were a good friend to me. It will be hard for me go to pick up Shanda at work and not have you there to say "hello mama Lou". I wish peace to come to your family during this difficult time, but we will all see each other again.

My thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of you during this difficult time. Don and I had alot of great times together. I remember going with your family to see Christmas lights two years ago. It was nice to see him laugh and carry on. The dedication to his family was heartwarming. I will miss him terribly. Not a day will go by without me thinking of something he said or did. He was more than my colleague he was one of my dearest friends. We may have had some rough times, but I could always count on him being there if I needed it. I cared about him deeply. Love you Don...
