Donald Dean Ashby, age 87, passed away peacefully at his home in Aurora, Colorado on November 9, 2018. Don was born on January 8, 1931 in Garden City, Kansas. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Ashby. Don was a loving father and grandfather, survived by his children Denise Ashby Letzler and Jonathon Lee Ashby, three grandsons (Brian, Dylan, and Blake Letzler), and a great-granddaughter Tyler Raye Hope Letzler. He is predeceased by his son, Kenneth Ashby. Don was a teacher and coach at South Junior High School in Lawrence, Kansas from 1968-1984. Don was a man of unwavering faith in Jesus. His family is at peace knowing he is with his heavenly father. A funeral service will be held on Dec.1st at 1:00 pm at Cherry Creek Presbyterian church,
