I remember fondly "Uncle" Russ. When I was a kid he was active at Troost Avenue Gospel Hall where we attended until I went away to college in New York. He always drove the school bus from Kansas City to Kansas Bible Camp, first to Wichita and later to Hutchinson. My folks, John and Betty Littlefield, and my sisters were invited to his and Doris' home multiple times for meals after Sunday meeting. I think their daughters were a lot younger than I when I went away to university and then the army, and I didn't keep up. "Uncle" Russ had a soft voice, an easy laugh, and a good sense of humor. I look forward to seeing him "over there." My condolences to all the family. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
Russ was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor and a great love for our Lord and Savior. We've known Mary Lyn for decades through work and the Bible studies at her house and came to know Russ through the Bible chapel as well as when we worked with Kathy at Cottonwood.
We know Russ will be sorely missed by all those whose lives he touched.

I have beautiful memories of Russ and MaryLynn in Ireland, serving the Lord with Ireland Outreach at Charleville. Russ had such a great sense of humor, and kept all of us 'young-uns' in stitches. He and MaryLynn were a wonderful example to us in their dedication to the Lord and their servant hearts.

With heartfelt sympathy to the family of Russell Farwell. It was always a treat to be greeted by Russ--so upbeat and gentle by nature. His most positive approach to life always made me feel special, a world in a good place.
