We old neighbors are saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. Stories have been shared as we meet on the street. Last Saturday evening, a group gathered (Brenda, Margaret, Linda, Thomas, Tara) around a fire in the back yard to honour your request that we raise a toast to Jerry. We told some stories and had a few laughs, and Thomas reflected that he had used one of Jerry's tools on a project that afternoon. The two of you are remembered fondly, Jeanette.

A one of a kind person. Always willing to help anybody. I honestly don't think Jerry ever met a stranger. He could get along with all people from all walks of life. Happy sailing Jerry...

Loved all those parties that Jerry and Jeanette had for their friends. He would fix lobsters and give every couple $50 for just being there. We will miss him a lot.

Went to Florida to visit Jerry and Jeanette many years ago. First time Jerry had to get out a sweat shirt, cold! He made us the biggest shrimp I had ever seen.
Also made the best BBQ ribs ever.
I hope you and Dan meet up, he would love to see you.
Love you, Joanne Kelly Magneson
