Lois Grace Voight

Lois Grace Voigt, 88, Basehor, KS passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Tonganoxie Nursing Center, Tonganoxie, KS.

Grace was born June 10, 1924 to Lucille Moschell Scrivner and Albert Scrivner in Madison, IL. She is survived by her husband Eugene, with 65 years of marriage. Her daughter Lois and husband David Bol, granddaughter Jennifer and husband Nelson Vellalobos, great grandson Kingston Aaron Vellalobos, grandson Aaron and wife Mary Kate Bol, two brothers James and David Scrivner, nephew Rick Beebe, niece, Staci Phipps, cousins Mary Alice and Palmer Lee, Stephanie Kessler, Davis T. and Debbie Moulden and JoEtta Kaaz.

A special thank you to our neighbors, friends Chad and Beth Lacy, Joyce Mohan, Richard Mullins, Sharon and Derron Mayer.

She was preceded in death by her brothers William Moschell and George Phipps and her sister Norma Beebe.

To Tonganoxie Nursing Center staff and Harden Hospice of Kansas, you are terrific; your care is loving-thank you.

Family will receive friends 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 14700 Leavenworth Rd, Basehor, KS 66007. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Mount Muncie Cemetery, Lansing, KS.

Memorial contributions may be given to Risen Savior Lutheran Church. The Davis Funeral Chapel, Leavenworth, KS is in-charge of the funeral arrangements.

Grace and I became friends when we worked in County Extension Work. She gave me some patterns, recipes and good laughs. I didn't know she was at TNC or I would have visited with her. Be proud of her, she impacted many lives and will be missed.
