BEULAH "CAROL" KELLEY FULKS
Carol 75 passed away on January 22, 2013 at renaissance hospital in McAllen Texas. Visitation will be Sunday, January 27th @ 5PM, @ Roller-Crouch funeral home, located in Mountain View, 405 S. Peabody Ave. Services will be held @ St. Mary catholic church 17068 Hy. 66, Mountain View, Arkansas Monday, January the 28th & 10:30 AM; Followed by a grave side service @ Pleasant Grove cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Carol requested donations be made to CCVI "School for the visually impaired children, 3101 Main St. Ks City, Mo. 64111. "Little Man", Carols 3 year old great grandson attends this school: "code donations" @ WWW. CCVI.ORG " NOTATE IN MEMORY OF "TAYENS" GREAT-GRANDMOTHER.
Carol was born October 4th, 1937 in Tonganoxie Ks. To Olen & Hazel Kelley , was raised in the Eudora Ks. Area. About the time she was in the 7th grade, she drove a car and took her siblings to school and picked up some of the neighboring children.
Carol meet and married EL Fulks of Mountain View Ar. on April 26th, 1954. As a team they bought & remodeled many homes in Eudora, about 17 by 1973. In that time Carol followed her dream and went to cosmetology school, Owned & operated a beauty shop for over 20 years in Eudora. Carol wasn't afraid of hard work she did everything from plumbing to roofing & was really good @ painting & wallpapering, While raising her children RICK, ROGER, & DAUGHTER RONDA. They then moved to Grove OK. In 1977, Near her parents, one of her brothers & 2 of her sisters. Where they lived for many years enjoying boating, fishing off their lake front dock, going dancing & playing cards with friends & family They then relocated to Texas, after moving a few more times they settled in Edinburg Texas.
Carol was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, EL FULKS; Brother, Bob Graves; Grandson Chad Olen Fulks; Brother in law, Merlin Eisenbarger; Brother in law Byron Davidson; Son in law Winston Parker.
She is survived by her Sister, Patsy Eisenbarger; Sister, Connie Davidson; Sister, Linda Bower; Brother, Red King & wife Cathy; Sister in law Laverne Graves wife of Bob; Son. Rick Fulks & wife Sharlyn ; Son, Roger & wife Bernadette; Daughter Ronda Parker; 16 Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren; & one Great-Great-Grandchild.
She also enjoyed driving a big rig over the road with her husband, knitting, crocheting, needle point. Donated hundreds of knitted hats she made for preemie babies to hospitals. She also loved Bowling, traveling, visiting with friends & family. Attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Texas.
